Our Commitment to Privacy

At Token Counter, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our token counting service.                      We never ask for or store your AI provider API keys. All token counting is done locally on your device.

Email address, encrypted password, account creation date

Prompts & History

Prompts you enter, token counts, models used, timestamps

Usage Data

Login times, features used, dashboard interactions

Saved Prompts

Prompts you choose to save, folder organization, favorites

What we DO NOT collect:

API keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, or any AI providers
Credit card information (handled by WarriorPlus)
Your AI model outputs or generations
Browsing history outside our service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain the Service: Token counting, history tracking, dashboard analytics
Improve user experience: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features
Communicate with you: Send important updates, security alerts, and support messages
Personalize your experience: Remember your preferences and saved prompts
Generate analytics: Understand how users interact with the service (anonymized)

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with the following protections:

Encryption in transit: All data is encrypted using SSL/TLS
Encryption at rest: Database is encrypted
Row Level Security (RLS): You can only access your own data
Regular backups: Daily backups to prevent data loss

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
WarriorPlus: Payment processing and license management
Google Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics (optional, you can opt-out)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum necessary data with them.
